Will be showing the neices the Mars tonight. Last night I did a little preparation and setup.
Shot a short video and then did a bit of stacking of the best frames.
In the computer, the picture looks like this:
Doesn't look like much. However, that's a live video feed and by sorting for the best frames and stacking these images, good detail can be resolved. Here's how it looks after some sharpening.
You can see the tiny polar ice cap to the 4 o clock position.
