At the end of 2020, the nearby private school changed their exterior lights from mercury vapor to LED.
The fixture housing was not changed and the housing did not feature a full cutoff design. The throw of the light reaches upward and is pretty harsh. Below is the letter I've written pointing out the problem and the hopes of getting some changes.

UPDATE April 6 2021: I sent a shorter version of the letter to the management and received a message back within a day, offering a commitment to making changes. Was glad to see the enthusiasm.
UPDATE April 16 2021: Synapse crew seen at 6:45 am on scissor lift making adjustments/modifications to the lights. I've also noticed the lights have been dimmed somewhat after midnight.
