Iris Nebula as seen in the backyard from sessions covering Aug 9 to 13, 2013. Total of 36 subexposures of 1200 seconds each for 12 hours of integration.

Taken with the modified and cooled Pentax K10D camera on the Stellarvue SV4 scope. Used flattener, IDAS LPS and Baader UV/IR block filter.

Guided and calibrated using Maxim
Calibrated with 17 darks, 260 bias, and 64 flats
Stacked using DSS
Processes in PixInsight.

Had problems with deconvolution, so I skipped that step and used MT and other tools to tighten the stars.

Major steps used: DBE, Masked stretch, Histogram stretch, SCNR, MT, TGV Denoise (very powerful tool), unsharp mask, used histogram to fix white balance, and curves to tweak the dark areas.
